|I have been regularly to the Woolpack and never had a bad meal. In fact, the menu was superb and food out of this world, original, tasty and of very high quality......but then....the chef is gone. Went last night for a meal after telling my friends about it and inviting them...guess what? A total disaster. The menu has shrunk, the portions have shrunk, the presentation was poor and the food even worse. The Sea Bass was alledgedly cooked in a butter sauce. It looked like it was still swimming in water. The game, previously presented on a large mushroom was lost in the midle of a soup bowl with a lump of potatoes. Everything was tasteless. Very disappointed from a pub I very happily recommended in the past. I definitely won't be back until I hear they have tracked down the old chef or got rid of this new one![Report for Removal]||Phil
