|We only stayed at The Oak Inn for 1 night as a halfway stop over on our journey but wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely room with balcony, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff and locals. Tried to book again for our return journey, but unfortunately it was fully booked. Would definately stay again if in area and totally recommend to friends.[Report for Removal]||Joanne and Vic

|We happened upon the Oak Inn via a "Pets' Friendly" website. We only stayed one night as we travelled around Hereford/Salop but were very impressed with the accommodation (new, spacious & well-furnished), the food (good variety, well-cooked, and reasonably priced) & the "welcome". The Oak Inn is situated in great countryside & well-placed for a number of walks & attractions. Highly recommended - we will stay here again! [Report for Removal]||K Jefferies

|We discovered this 'gem' of a pub by luck whilst staying in Herefordshire. They have 4 B & B rooms which we were told were new and we have to say that they were fabulous, even 5 star. Every detail had been thought of not at all what we would have expected of pub accomodation. The beds were so comfy and for a change we never had back ache. Food was again a very high restaurant standard and an extensive locally sourced menu. Highly recommended. Best of all dogs are welcomed with open arms something we usually have a problem with as we have a large dog. We will definitely be back. [Report for Removal]||Mrs S Long

|having booked the evening before for sunday lunch was dissapointed to arrive and find staff had no record of our booking - a table was available which was promising. Having ordered (£14 for 2 courses) we then waited an hour for our food to arrive, as did the table next to us, apparantly the pub had a group booking of 32 - why take a booking for that number if the kitchen can't cope with other diners as well? I had roast pork pork but no stuffing or apple sauce was available. Both dinners came swimming in gravy which whilst fine by me my husband who is a "dry" food person found it too much. Overall atmosphere nice but food disappointing - can not see us going back for food.[Report for Removal]||janice denton
